Thailand took the lead at the end of the first half through Pansa Hembivoon's goal. In the second half, Indonesia was increasingly left behind after Thailand scored two consecutive goals through Adisak Kraisorn in the 65th minute and substitute Pokkhao Anan in the 74th minute.
Indonesia can only reduce the score through Fachrudin Aryanto in the 89th minute. A 4-2 score survives for the hosts victory.
This defeat made Indonesia have a smaller chance or if it could not be said it had run out to advance to the semifinals. Because Indonesia has only collected three points from three matches and has only one home match against the Philippines next week.
