In the League 1 match which took place at PTIK Stadium, South Jakarta, Monday (11/19/2018), Bhayangkara managed to defeat Oswaldo Lessa's squad with a score of 2-0. All goals are made in the second half.

The first goal was created by Alsan Putra Masat Sanda in the 73rd minute. Alsan made use of a throwing ball from the Persipura goalkeeper, who could not catch a free kick made by Yu Jun.

Bhayangkara added the number of goals in the 81st minute through a Herman Dzumafo Epandi penalty. The score is 2-0.

After the match, Simon gave the impression after seeing the results of his team's hard work.

"In this match we had to make a number of changes in strategy. Our first round was solid, there were a number of opportunities from us, but we could not," Simon said at a press conference.

"Then in the second half we made a few changes, which changed Alsan's position slightly forward and we were able to steal a goal ten minutes later," he explained.

"With this result, of course I am very happy with the player's performance against a difficult team like Persipura."

The same was expressed by Dany Saputra. He was grateful for the match this time he and his team managed to clean up.

"Alhamdulillah for tonight's match because we can win this match because previously we were unable to clean the game at home," said Dany.

"But tonight we can win over Persipura without conceding. Of course the result of this match is capital for the next Bhayangkaran match so that it can go up (ranking)."

An additional three points made Bhayangkara rise to fourth in the standings with 49 points, stalking Persib Bandung who have the same points but on goal difference in third place and one point difference with Persija Jakarta in second place.
