Putu Gede was awarded two yellow cards when Indonesia was defeated by Singapore 0-1 in the inaugural match of the 2018 AFF Cup, 9 November. He was sent off at the end of injury time.
After missing the match against Timor Leste, Putu Gede was able to play when facing Thailand at the Rajamangala Stadium, Bangkok, Saturday (11/17/2018). Bek Bhayangkara FC was asked to be more careful in making decisions.
"Yes there is no trauma. If I am trusted by the coach, I will be ready. Red cards are actually commonplace in football, not only me who accept them. World players have also experienced it," said Putu Gede.
"The Bima Sakti coach asked me to be more careful and observant in making decisions on the field. The Indonesian national team basically had to win," he added.
