Hidayat was dragged in the case of alleged score settings. After FC Madura Manager Januar Herwanto, who claimed to be offered to sell matches in the last eight of League 2 against PSS Sleman.

Hidayat denied the allegations. According to him, he never intended to set a score.

Football observer, Akmal Marhali, considers the allegations to be taken seriously by PSSI. The football federation chaired by Edy Rahmayadi must be firm and transparent, do not cover it up if this is proven.

"If Hidayat is involved in setting a score then it is worth to be sentenced to life. The perpetrators of setting the score are more evil than elephant football," Akmal told detikSport on Thursday (11/29/2018).

"PSSI must dare to investigate thoroughly to the roots. After being found guilty in the realm of family football and proven, PSSI must include it as a complaint to the realm of positive law," he added.

"Make Hidayat a whistle blower to open who the big actors are playing, so that positive law is also enforced," he said.

Anyone involved in setting a score or bribe has clearly written a sentence in Law No. 11 of 1980 concerning Criminal Bribery, sentenced to 5 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 15 millions.
