Guy Junior, who last season was part of the success story of 'The Guardians' won the 1st League of 2017, chose to join PSM the following season. With 'Juku Eja', the naturalized Cameroon player has scored eight goals in the 2018 League 1.
Now Junior Guy will be the mainstay of PSM to face Bhayangkara FC in the 1st week of the 34th match in the 2018 League. PSM will go to PTIK Stadium, South Jakarta, Monday (12/12/2018).
PSM expects the flow of goals from Guy Junior. Especially after being reserved in the previous match against Bali United, the 32-year-old striker is believed to be more 'savage' in front of the goal.
"Against Bhayangkara he (Junior Guy) will play," PSM Makassar coach Robert Rene Alberts said on Saturday (1/12/2018).
"Last season he won with this team, and this season he has the chance to bring champions with his team now, and of course he has more enthusiasm to show something there, that I can win with this team."
"He can be up to 200 percent, he will be our secret weapon, but because he has been told it is not a secret," he said.
Ahead of the final weeks of League 1 2018, PSM is still firmly at the top of the standings with 57 points. Juku Eja competes with Persija Jakarta in second place with one point difference. Persija will visit the home of Bali United on Sunday (2/12).
